Our History
As early as 1904 and 1905 several families scattered about that territory fairly known as the Brady Addition asked for a church, and Father Hennessy of the Annunciation parish established tent services to test the possibilities. Faced with many challenges, it was agreed that a church was needed in this community.
The John T. Brady family donated six lots for a church site and Mr. Sherman Brady from his own brick yard, donated half of the brick for the combination school and church building.
On July 20, 1909, the first shovel of earth was turned for the new building, which slowly arose to its noble purpose until it was dedicated in October 1910.
