Who can rent the Hall?
All interested in renting the Hall must first talk to the parish office for date availability and type of event they would like to have in the Hall.
What kind of events can be held in the Parish Hall?
The Parish Hall is for the use of Faith Formation and our Community. Events such as Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations, Quinceañera/Sweet 16, Weddings/Wedding Anniversary and Funeral Rosary/Receptions are welcome, all other events will be reviewed case by case.
How much does it Cost for the use of the Facilities?
Our registered and currently giving through their offertory envelopes members may rent the Hall for $50.00/hr and covering their own Insurance form fee through Catholic Mutual.
For Non-registered parishioners or non-parishioners, it is $100.00/hr and covering their own insurance form fee through Catholic Mutual.
[The only exception is for Funeral Rosary/Reception, it is an open donation]
Expectations and Forms to be filled in the Parish Office:
We ask all interested in renting the Parish Hall to come with enough time to schedule it in the calendar. Feast days or days of obligation will not be available for any events.
Two Forms must be filled out in the Parish Office for the event, and is subject to Father's approval, No email registrations will be permitted to reserve a date.
A refundable safety deposit of $100 is needed to reserve the date and will be returned if the hall is clean, no damages are found/reported and the keys are returned on time.
For any other questions not mentioned over the guidelines please call or visit the office.
Who Cleans? Can I hire someone to clean?
Every renter/organizer/planner is responsible to take care of the Hall, leaving everything as they found it. No outside cleaning crews are allowed without proper consent from the priest and Office staff in advance.
How late can we stay?
All Hall rentals are only until midnight, including cleaning time, No exceptions. Any time exceeding what was agreed upon before the event will be held accountable upon the return of keys to the office and any violations in accordance to City Regulations if fines are applied.
Can I have a Decorator?
Yes, but you will have to work around the schedule of the Hall and follow the guidelines. Any decorations are welcome as long as no damage is made to the walls or floors; in case of damage, the person in charge of rental will be held accountable for those damages.
If you wish to leave anything in the Hall overnight before or after your event, it is upon your discretion and Blessed Sacrament or staff will not be liable for any missing items or damages of items.
Can I have live Music/Mariachi/DJ?
Yes, live music is welcome, as long as you follow the Houston Noise Ordinance established by the city. We welcome the event planner or organizer for music to look at the space and what we have available before making any arrangements.
Can we use the Kitchen?
Yes, you may use the Kitchen area of the Hall, however all items brought in for the event will need to be cleared out after the event, nothing can be left in the Kitchen (refrigerators, tables, etc.) or Hall and the cleaning of all equipment must be left as it was before the event and trash must be taken out to the dumpster.
Can I have Alcohol in the event?
For events held in the Parish Hall, Alcohol is permitted, however renter/organizers/planners must comply to city ordinance to have officers present outside the Parish Hall for Security purposes and are responsible to requesting the officers and pay the fee (if any) personally. Any violations regarding the use of alcohol will be the renter/organizer/planners responsibility and must comply with HPD in case of any accidents or fines.
